QInsights: Updates & a Fresh Take on Analysis

Since the last release note, a few new features have quietly made their way into QInsights — and you may have already spotted some of them.

But before I tell you what’s new, I’d like to invite you to an upcoming webinar on April 4th, from 16:30 to 17:30 CEST.

In this session, I’ll present a method for analysing qualitative data with AI — without coding. For decades, coding has been the go-to approach for qualitative analysis. It’s so deeply ingrained that many find it hard to imagine analysing qualitative data any other way. This webinar will show you that there is another way — and how QInsights makes it possible.

Now, onto the new features:

One handy update: you can now switch between list view and tile view when displaying your project files. This makes it much easier to navigate large projects with many documents.

🔹 Easier Logout
Previously tucked away under profile, the Logout option is now right where you need it — on the main side panel. One less click to get out when you're done!

🔹 Added Security with MFA
We’ve added an extra layer of protection: you can now enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). It’s a simple way to keep your account more secure. You’ll find the option under Settings.

🔹 New PDF Output for Theme Analysis
You can now export your Theme Analysis results as a PDF. The layout mirrors what you see on screen: theme titles are shown as tiles at the top, followed by each theme’s description and its supporting references. Perfect for sharing or archiving your analysis!

🔹 Search Within Document Previews
When reviewing references, it can be tricky if the part you’re looking for isn’t immediately highlighted. Now, you can search directly within the document preview. Just type in your keyword, and all matches will be highlighted in red — making it easy to spot exactly what you need.

🔹 Support at Your Fingertips
While in a chat, you’ll now see a small headset icon (a person with headphones). This is your direct line to QInsights support. Click it to report a problem or suggest a new feature — we’re always happy to hear from you!

🔹 Say Hello to Q – Anytime
Here’s another little gem you might have missed: on the dashboard, you’ll find an icon to call up Q, your AI assistant. When you chat with Q from the dashboard, it’s not connected to your project data, so you can ask anything. Need inspiration for follow-up questions? Want help phrasing a prompt? Or maybe you’ve wrapped up your analysis, you're tired and hungry, and just need dinner ideas, go ahead, ask Q. Give it a try. You might be surprised what it comes up with!
