What’s New in QInsights
Two Exciting Features!

Hi
We’ve been listening closely to your feedback, and today we’re excited to share two powerful new features designed to make your analysis more transparent and collaborative than ever.
Improved Theme Analysis for Excel Files
Working with semi-structured data just got a whole lot easier.
Previously, if you uploaded an Excel file and wanted to extract quotes related to a specific theme, you had to manually ask Q for a list. That was helpful — but not quite seamless.
Now, QInsights takes care of it for you.
When you generate themes from semi-structured Excel data, you can now click on “Detail” to instantly retrieve all data segments related to a theme.
Why this matters:
You get full transparency into what data supports each theme, making it easier to review, and trust the analytical output — especially important for rigorous qualitative work.

Extract all data segments for a theme
And in case you didn’t know: This has been available for Word and PDF files all along. When you export themes from those sources, all references are already included — so now Excel is catching up.
🤝 Teamwork Made Easy: Project Sharing
Collaboration just became effortless.
You can now share your QInsights project with another user — perfect for co-analysis, team feedback, or simply keeping stakeholders in the loop.
To share, just click “Share Project” and enter the recipient’s email. They’ll get an invitation and see the project appear in their dashboard immediately.
What can collaborators do?
View all existing analyses
Add new analyses
Maintain the integrity of existing analyses (you cannot continue or add anything to existing analyses)
New analyses conducted in the shared project will show up in the Master project.
This feature is designed to support transparent, collaborative research workflows, whether you're working side by side or asynchronously across time zones.

Team work just became easier
Project Sharing is still in beta, so we’d love to hear how it’s working for you — and if you run into any issues, please let us know.
Speaking of feedback: we’ve just launched a shared space where users can connect, exchange ideas, help each other out, and share tips — and of course, where we as co-founders also join in to provide support on both methodological and technical topics.
Here’s your invitation to join the space:

I am looking forward to your feedback,
Susanne
P.S. If you’ve registered in the past, attended a webinar, or tested QInsights a bit but haven’t subscribed yet — this is a great moment to jump back in. With new features rolling out and a growing user community, there’s never been a better time to explore what Q can do for your qualitative work: https://qinsights.vercel.app/login
